Veolia demonstrated its cutting-edge capabilities in water, waste, and energy management at the 26th IE Expo China in Shanghai on April 21, 2025. As a global leader in ecological transformation, the company presented comprehensive solutions for de-pollution, decarbonization, and resource regeneration, while fostering collaboration with industry stakeholders.

During the three-day exhibition, Veolia's technical experts conducted onsite and virtual presentations on advanced solutions, including zero-discharge industrial wastewater systems, comprehensive hazardous waste management, circular economy initiatives, mobile water treatment units, membrane technology, materials science innovations, and AI-powered carbon reduction solutions. A dedicated digital interactive zone allowed visitors to experience firsthand the integration of digital technology with environmental solutions.

Building on its GreenUp global strategy launched in 2024, Veolia has intensified its focus on three core areas: decarbonization, resource regeneration, and de-pollution. The expo served as a platform for Veolia to showcase collaborative achievements through strategic partnerships and project launches, establishing new benchmarks in sustainable industrial practices.

In pursuit of China's dual carbon objectives and sustainable economic development, Veolia has established a strategic partnership with Yuanchu Technology (Beijing) to advance carbon neutrality initiatives. The collaboration focuses on developing and implementing CCUS technologies, with plans to construct a pioneering BECCS facility at Veolia's biomass thermal power plant in the Jiang'an Economic Development Zone, supporting the region's low-carbon transition.

Veolia Taixing has also formed a strategic alliance with Jiangsu Woteyou New Energy Technology, signing an MOU to implement innovative energy-saving solutions. The partnership will introduce advanced natural gas-assisted combustion technology at Veolia's Taixing hazardous waste facility, enhancing both waste management efficiency and energy conservation.

As a global leader in environmental services, Veolia continues to strengthen its industrial chain collaboration mechanisms and expand business opportunities in green transformation for industrial parks and enterprises. At this year's IE Expo, the company officially launched the "Industrial Park and Enterprise Service Alliance" together with leading enterprises across the industry value chain. The alliance aims to provide integrated solutions for industrial parks and enterprises, enhancing cooperation to accelerate project implementation. Founding members include Veolia, Rockwell Automation, Schneider Electric, Eaton, PwC, and CICC, covering sectors such as industrial park planning, green finance and investment, smart manufacturing, energy management optimization, asset operations, and green transition services.

Throughout the exhibition, Veolia's specialists engaged with industry leaders and experts in various forums, facilitating discussions on circular economy innovations and sustainable development strategies, while showcasing their vision for ecological transformation.
