The Wastewater Treatment Plant, with a capacity of 250 cubic meters per hour (m3/h), is capable of handling a diverse range of wastewater, including gasification wastewater, low-temperature methanol washing wastewater, cooling water blowdown, and other production and life wastewater
The Reclaim Treatment Plant, with a capacity of 500 m3/h, is primarily dedicated to replenishing the cooling water system.
It reduces the annual raw water intake and wastewater discharge by over 2 million cubic meters.
This achievement translates into a remarkable reuse rate of 65%, marking a significant step towards water conservation and sustainable water management.
August,15, 2024 - Veolia China announces the successful commissioning of a Build-Operate-Transfer (BOT) project for Wastewater treatment and Reclaimed water reuse facilities of Hubei Jinkong Gas’s ammonia alcohol technology upgrading project together with its partner Hubei Heyuan Gas Co., Ltd. The BOT project fulfils Veolia’s commitment on operational excellence and resource efficiency. With an annual production capacity of 550,000 tons of synthetic ammonia, Hubei Jinkong Gas's project is a key industrial initiative in Hubei and Shanxi provinces. It also serves as a model for the sustainable transformation of the traditional coal chemical industry. Partnered with Hubei Heyuan Gas, Veolia has established a Joint Venture to construct and operate the state-of-the-art wastewater treatment and water reuse facilities tailored for the Jinkong Gas project.
