Veolia has comprehensive expertise in waste recycling, collection, transferring, treating and reuse. We are dedicated to treating waste generated from human activities in an environmentally responsible manner, reintegrating it into the economic cycle to enable sustainable resource utilization.

With nearly 170 years of collaboration with municipal authorities and enterprises, Veolia has developed expertise across the entire industry chain, from the front-end collection and sorting to the final treatment. Veolia is capable of providing the authorities with optimal solutions based on the composition of waste, regulatory frameworks, dynamics of regional development, urban planning, positioning of projects, and the principles of sustainable growth.

For over a decade, Veolia has collaborated with municipal authorities of various European cities in France, the United Kingdom, and Germany in scientifically grounded waste management planning, resulting in various exemplary cases. In China Taiwan, Veolia has actively engaged in urban waste management policies, contributing to raising environmental awareness among the public. Business Case

Foshan - Guangdong
Foshan Gaoming landfill plant

Veolia Foshan Gaoming Domestic Waste Sanitary Landfill is one of the key projects in Guangdong Province as well as Foshan municipality. It is responsible for the treatment to the domestic waste generated in the four areas of Chancheng, Gaoming, Nanhai and Shunde. As a world-class landfill plant, it is also an environmental education site in Foshan.
Treatment capacity reaches 3,000 tons/day.

Integrated management of municipal solid waste

In light of the rapidly increasing volume of waste in today's society, addressing the pressing contradiction between the high growth rate of household waste and the limited capacity of existing waste treatment facilities has become an urgent matter. Additionally, the diversity of waste sources and the intricate composition of waste materials bring to the forefront the growing constraints associated with the application of a single processing method.

Drawing from its achievements in Europe, Veolia is able to offer total solutions and services for integrated management and treatment to municipal authorities and similar projects from the industry.
