The 21st edition of the IE Expo China was held in Shanghai on the 13-15 Aug 2020. As the leading trade fair for environmental services in Asia, the exhibition attracted 2,047 exhibitors from 24 countries and regions around the world, displaying innovative technologies in the fields of water, solid waste, air, soil, and noise pollution.
As the global leader in optimized resource management, Veolia showcased the Group's most cutting-edge technology and latest solutions. The official opening of the IE Expo China Environmental Technology Conference 2020 and Summit Forum also took place during the same period of the exhibition. Huang Xiaojun, Vice President of Veolia China, attended the "14th Five-Year" Prospects and Trends of the Ecology and Environment Industry dialogue and delivered a speech at the forum.
At the forum about solid waste treatment, Dai Bing, General Manager of Veolia China Hangzhou Lijia Environmental Services Co., Ltd., shared the importance of informatization in refining the hazardous waste management industry.
He said that refined management is the basis for smooth operations of hazardous waste treatment projects, and Informatization will be a strong support to ensure that the industry will continue to develop in a sustainable, scientific and efficient manner in the future. On the basis of the hazardous waste information management system developed by Veolia, Veolia has extended the use of informatization to the RFID warehouse management system and smart compatibility to bring about more scientific and refined hazardous waste management, and provide more possibilities for resource utilization .
